Lions Club of Central - Xin'an County Special Education School
To celebrate its 15th Anniversary, and with joint funding from the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and its Sister Clubs, the Lions Club of Central donated RMB 600,000 to the Xin'an Special Education School.
The donation was used to finance the relocation and renovation of the school premises, as well as the purchase of new classroom and language therapy equipment. This significantly improved the learning environment for nearly 100 visually and intellectually disabled students.
The new school campus was officially inaugurated on April 6, 2007. A delegation from the Club traveled to the location to participate in the ceremony, engage in a heartwarming exchange with the teachers and students, and jointly witness the successful completion of this deeply meaningful charitable project.
